I am an award-winning Mathematician, Chemist, and Qualified Teacher of Secondary Mathematics (QTS) with over 15 years of experience supporting students across a wide range of ages and abilities, from middle and high school through to college and university level.

I currently serve as Head (Coordinator) of Mathematics at an IB World School, where I teach IB MYP Mathematics and IB Diploma Programme Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches (AA). I also lead a successful STEM Club, inspiring students through engineering, robotics, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary learning.

My academic background includes degrees in both Mathematics and Chemistry. During my university studies, I was honoured twice with the Best Mathematician award and received a Merit Award for Scientific and Research Excellence. I am also a certified Mensa member, hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Secondary Mathematics, and have PVG Scheme membership for working with children.

My teaching philosophy is centred on understanding each student's individual needs. Every learning journey begins with a careful assessment of existing knowledge, allowing me to identify strengths, address misconceptions, and create a personalised learning plan. I believe that mathematics becomes far more engaging when connected to real-world applications, helping students develop both confidence and lasting understanding.

Lessons are well-structured, supportive, and goal-oriented. I combine clear explanations with effective study strategies, extensive exam practice using past papers, and carefully designed resources to help students achieve their full academic potential. Whether preparing for school examinations, IB assessments, university courses, or strengthening mathematical foundations, I strive to help every student succeed with confidence.
